Original abstract artwork | 61 × 91 cm
A study in contrast, space and movement, Blue Horizon brings together a soft ivory backdrop with striking vertical strokes of cobalt blue, deep navy and black. Rising from the lower edge of the canvas, the expressive marks vary in height and texture, creating a dramatic landscape of colour against an open, almost atmospheric background.
Fine splatters, delicate drips and textured layers add unexpected details throughout the composition. The contrast between the bold, sculptural paint at the base and the quieter space above creates a sense of distance and elevation, inviting interpretations of a distant skyline, abstract natural forms or reflections reaching towards the sky.
Minimalist yet full of energy, Blue Horizon balances restraint with expressive freedom. Its generous proportions and sophisticated palette make it a distinctive contemporary statement for a living room, office or creative space.
